Dr. Brian Wright holds a PhD in Ebusiness from Northcentral University, an MBA in Ebusiness from Northcentral University, and a BS in Business Administration from Heidelberg University. Having completed his PhD entirely online, Dr. Wright has a deep understanding of the time commitment and unique challenges of online learning, as well as its many rewards.
With 15 years of experience in online teaching, Dr. Wright has taught a diverse range of courses, including Management of Information Systems, E-business, Business Research and Communications, Business Information Systems, Emerging Technologies, Organizational Behavior, Principles of Marketing, Business Fundamentals, and Internet Marketing.
Dr. Wright was a guest lecturer at Heidelberg University. He presented “The Power of Online Learning,” which encompassed why exposure to online courses at a traditional university would benefit today’s students and how blending the two would provide a more rounded education. He spent over a month teaching Business Communications and Labor Relations in Shanghai, China, at the end of 2024.
Professionally, Dr Wright serves on the Heidelberg University Alumni Council. His research interests include the impact of the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence on American Consumers.
Dr. Wright is married with two children and resides on Hilton Head Island and in Cincinnati, Ohio. He enjoys walking on the beach, camping, dining out, golfing, fishing, and traveling.
