Dr. Sridhar Paidikondala is an Adjunct Faculty member in the MBA Program at Sofia University, where he brings over 25 years of global industry experience to the classroom. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and an MBA with a focus on Business Analytics from Hult International Business School, San Francisco — a combination that uniquely positions him at the intersection of technical rigor and strategic business thinking.
Dr. Paidikondala’s teaching philosophy is grounded in applied, real-world problem solving. His areas of academic focus include operations management, business analytics, digital transformation, and energy sector strategy. He is deeply committed to preparing future business leaders with the quantitative skills and strategic frameworks needed to navigate complex, data-driven environments.
His professional career spans leadership roles across consulting, advanced process control, and digital transformation in the global oil and gas industry. He has worked with prominent organizations including IBM Global Business Services, Honeywell Automation, Aspen Technology, and Technip, serving clients across the United States, the Middle East, India, and Europe. Currently, he serves as an Alliance Partner at Pi Control Solutions in Houston, Texas, where he leads technical sales and project implementation in advanced process control and refinery digitization.
Dr. Paidikondala has been an Associate Faculty and Curriculum Developer at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), India since 2012, developing and delivering programs in Oil & Gas Informatics, process engineering, and AI applications in energy. He is an active researcher and published author, with peer-reviewed work appearing in Catalysis Today. His applied work also includes developing AI tools such as an Oil & Gas AI Chatbot and several NLP-driven productivity applications.
