Dr. Dawn Celeste McGregor, an integral member of Sofia University’s faculty since 2023, brings a wealth of knowledge in psychology and business administration. With over three decades of experience as a transformational, spiritual, intuitive, and business coach, Dr. McGregor’s expertise is deeply rooted in personal, professional, and spiritual development. Renowned for her innovative workshops and classes focused on empowerment, positive socialization, and intuitive development, Dr. McGregor has made significant contributions to the academic community.
Her commitment to education extends beyond her role at Sofia University. She has developed and facilitated numerous workshops independently, addressing topics such as empowerment, embodied spirituality, communication, and personal awareness. A unique blend of academic rigor and practical application characterizes Dr. McGregor’s work. On the creative writing side, her novel, The Alchemy of Wings, vividly transforms mystical, awakening, and alchemical experiences into an evocative allegory, offering readers a profound journey into the depths of human consciousness.
Dr. McGregor earned her master’s degree and Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University, where she conducted groundbreaking research on the development of sexual agency and its impact on women’s empowerment. Her academic journey is complemented by extensive training in various transformative and healing practices, which she incorporates into her holistic approach to teaching.
Dr. McGregor’s research encompasses the exploration of awe, grief and gratitude, sexual agency, gender studies, women’s empowerment, positive and social psychology. She is actively leading the development of the Female Socialized Agency Scale, a project that seeks to measure agency through the lens of female socialization. Her training interests encompass a wide range of subjects, from organizational behavior and communications to transpersonal psychology and eco-spirituality.
