Yali Wang is Associate Vice President of Global Engagement at Sofia University, where she leads the strategy and execution of global distance education initiatives. With over a decade of experience in executive and professional education, she develops program models that connect academic expertise with the needs of global learners—spanning program design, admissions and cohort development, faculty and facilitator collaboration, and end-to-end learner experience.
Yali is recognized for establishing cross-border operating frameworks across time zones, including clear governance, partner coordination, and performance dashboards that support consistent, high-touch delivery at scale. She has negotiated and managed strategic academic partnerships and supported non-degree and professional training initiatives. She also serves as Co-Chair of the University Strategic Enrollment Plan Committee, and as Co-Chair and Founder Chair of Sofia’s flagship annual conference, the Global Conference on Advancing Mental Health.
She holds an M.A. in Education & Teaching from the University of Southern California.
