Ann Truong brings over 30 years of diverse experience in financial management, business leadership, taxation, and corporate strategy, particularly within multi-million-dollar international NGOs, nonprofit organizations, higher education, and online businesses. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Management from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Francisco State University. Ann is an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California and an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA).
Throughout her career, Ann has served in key leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, and Audit and Finance Committee member for respected organizations such as the UC Berkeley Cal Alumni Association, East Meets West Foundation, Coaching Corps, Lincoln Family Center, and the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She has also shared her knowledge as an adjunct professor, teaching accounting, computer software, and mathematics at San Francisco State University and City College of San Francisco.
Outside of work, Ann treasures her family, including her two sons, Tyler and Benjamin, and her partner, Charlie. She believes higher education transforms lives and is proud to support Sofia University’s mission.
