Robyn Martinez is a higher education professional with a background in academic advising, student success, admissions, and student recruitment. She is passionate about creating supportive and inclusive educational experiences that help students feel confident navigating higher education and working toward their academic and professional goals.
Throughout her career, Ms. Martinez has advised students on academic planning and course selection, monitored academic progress, conducted outreach to students needing additional support, and connected students with university resources. Her admissions experience includes guiding prospective students through the application process, supporting undergraduate and graduate recruitment, and developing outreach events and informational sessions.
Ms. Martinez’s commitment to education and student support also extends to her experience mentoring college students and supporting learners as an ESL aide. These experiences strengthened her interest in helping students from different backgrounds feel welcomed, understood, and empowered in educational environments. Social justice and educational equity are especially important to her, and she believes students should have access to the guidance, resources, and opportunities they need to pursue their goals.

Ms. Martinez earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration. Her experience as both a higher education professional and graduate student contributes to her student-centered approach, and her understanding of the responsibilities students may balance while pursuing their education.
