Contemplative educator and facilitator with international Zen-based practice experience and interdisciplinary academic training in international relations and community-centered public policy. Holds a Master’s degree in Metropolitan Planning and Public Policy from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Mexico, with a focus on social capital, sustainability, and community well-being, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Osaka University, Japan.
Completed monastic training at Unmunsa Sangha College in South Korea, informing a grounded approach to mindfulness, ethical awareness, and embodied practice. International experience across Mexico, the United States, France, Hong Kong, and South Korea has shaped a culturally responsive and relational teaching style. Currently serves as Spiritual Guide at JustBe Temple in Seoul, facilitating contemplative programs for diverse groups. Work emphasizes practical integration of awareness, emotional regulation, and relational presence into daily life, professional settings, and community engagement, with an inclusive approach.
