Manali Nagarhalli is an MBA/MBAN Academic Advisor at Sofia University, where she supports graduate students in navigating their academic journey and achieving their educational and professional goals. In addition to her advising responsibilities, she currently serves as a Teaching Assistant for MBA courses, working closely with students and faculty to support learning and foster an engaging academic environment.
Manali holds an MBA from Sofia University and a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Her interdisciplinary academic background in business and pharmaceutical sciences has shaped her interests in leadership, organizational behavior, interdisciplinary learning, professional development, and the connection between education and real-world applications.
Before joining Sofia University, Manali worked as a Research and Development Scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, where she contributed to formulation development, process optimization, regulatory documentation, and cross-functional projects. She also gained experience in training and supporting colleagues in laboratory procedures and operational workflows. These experiences strengthened her skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, training, and knowledge sharing.
Her experience as a Teaching Assistant at Sofia University has further developed her passion for higher education, mentorship, and student success. Through her work with MBA students, she has gained experience supporting students in their coursework, engaging with diverse learners, and collaborating with faculty to enhance the academic experience. These experiences complement her work in academic advising and allow her to support students both inside and outside the classroom.
