Biography:

Dr. Hani Aldirawi is an Associate Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics at California State University, San Bernardino, and a faculty member in the MSCS program at Sofia University. His research focuses on statistical modeling of microbiome data, variable selection, and regression analysis, with applications in technology adoption, STEM education, and student well-being. His current research includes examining health-related issues among Hispanic undergraduate college students.
 
He is committed to continuous improvement in teaching, particularly in online and technology-enhanced learning environments. He has completed multiple professional development programs focused on effective, inclusive, and high-quality online instruction. His professional development includes the Equity-Minded Pedagogy Community of Practice, Introduction to Teaching Online Using Quality Learning and Teaching (QLT), the Quality Online Teaching Program (QOTP), and the Quality Online Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools for Teaching and Learning program.
 
These experiences reflect his commitment to equity-minded pedagogy, evidence-based teaching practices, and the effective integration of emerging technologies into higher education.
