Brandon Thompson has been a faculty member at Sofia University since 2009. He is a writer, a scholar of ecstatic poetry, and a Buddhist practitioner and teacher. In addition to his work as a transpersonal educator, he has conducted research in the field of ecstatic poetry which was published in the Journal of Transpersonal Psychology in 2020. He has published seven collections of ecstatic poetry and regularly facilitates ecstatic poetry workshops across the United States.
