Ms. Brandi Yanping Chen is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Sofia University MBA Program since 2022 and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) candidate at Sofia University from 2024. She brings more than twenty years of leadership experience in operational excellence, business analytics, strategic planning, and organizational transformation across healthcare, financial services, and international business sectors. Her professional background includes leadership positions at Leidos/QTC Health Services, Credit One Bank, Capital One, HSBC, and entrepreneurial ventures serving international clients.
Ms. Chen holds two Master of Science degrees from the University of Cincinnati: an M.S. in Quantitative Analysis and Operations Management from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business and an M.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Molecular Biology Applications in Environmental Monitoring. Her interdisciplinary background bridges data science, business analytics, healthcare innovation, environmental science, and leadership studies. Her current doctoral research focuses on designing and evaluating patient-centered health tracking frameworks that support symptom management, self-care, and clinical communication among individuals living with Long COVID.
In addition to her corporate and academic work, Ms. Chen is a TEDx speaker, educator, and curriculum developer. Her research and professional interests include healthcare analytics, organizational performance excellence, transpersonal leadership, artificial intelligence applications in healthcare, process improvement, and data-driven decision making. She is passionate about helping students integrate analytical rigor, systems thinking, and human-centered leadership to address complex organizational and societal challenges.
