Dr. Etel Leit is adjunct faculty of the Doctoral Program in Transpersonal Psychology, PHDC at Sofia University and serves as an adjunct professor in the MBA programs at Sofia University and Cambridge College. She is the Founder and Director of SignShine™, a premier family communication and therapeutic center in Beverly Hills, where she leads a comprehensive practice specializing in supporting families, couples, and individuals. Etel holds a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology, with extensive research on trauma, communication, and relational health, and earned dual master’s degrees in leadership and education from Pepperdine University. Her professional background is informed by her early career as a linguist and her leadership experience as a commander in Israeli intelligence. In addition to her clinical work, Etel is a recognized media expert, frequently featured on CNN, NBC, and Fox News, and the author of four books, including the best-seller UnAddicted to You and The Emotional Code, both of which explore the psychology of relationships and AI.

Trauma-informed therapeutic communication; non-verbal communication, particularly in parent-child interactions; emotional regulation and its effects on family systems; relational dynamics in couples and families, including interventions for toxic relationships and conflict resolution; transpersonal psychology and its applications in therapy; the integration of artificial intelligence in therapeutic settings; and the development of emotional intelligence in individuals and families.
