Join Sofia University on Saturday, 23 May, for a transformative event broadcast live from Lisbon, Portugal and our California campuses as part of the EUROTAS Conference 2026. This session brings together global experts to explore the profound intersections of prenatal experience, immersive learning, and the foundations of leadership.
Session Overview
This signature event features four specialized lectures followed by an integrated panel discussion:
- The Womb as First Environment: Dr. Amarillis Vazquez leads an experiential exploration into how the womb serves as our first relational and environmental context. Participants will investigate how these early experiences shape later patterns of self-perception and belonging through movement and transpersonal reflection.
- Systems and Agency: Dr. Dawn Celeste McGregor and Dr. Regina Hess facilitate a discussion on connections and agency within personal and collective systems.
- Immersive Dialogue: Dr. Jaspr Ilja and Dr. Dorote Lucci examine immersive learning as a method for whole-person development. This session explores how multi-sensory experiences support deeper integration across cognitive, somatic, and emotional domains to advance leadership and human development.
- Infant Communications: Dr. Etel Leit provides insights into early communication patterns and their role in human connection.
The First Ecology of Leadership: Round Table
The event concludes with a dynamic 60-minute panel titled “Peace, Birth, Balance: The Womb as the First Ecology of Leadership”. All lecturers will join for a dialogue on how prenatal and natal experiences offer profound insights into our capacity for:
- Peacebuilding and relational balance.
- Empathy and resilience.
- Developing foundational patterns of presence in the world.
