Jennifer Crane

Our Program Chair

Jen Crane, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist was appointed to the MACP Program Chair in January 2017. Previously, she served as an adjunct professor and assistant core faculty beginning in January 2013. 

Prior to working at Sofia University, she started her journey to becoming a therapist while working as a full-time Executive Assistant in high tech and simultaneously going to graduate school in the evenings and on weekends.  She worked with children, SED teens, families, and individuals all throughout her internship, began teaching in 2006 as an Adjunct Professor at JFK University and has been teaching graduate classes in Counseling Psychology ever since. She became licensed in 2009 and has a private practice where she see’s approximately 12-15 clients/week. The work of running a program, teaching within it and actively practicing psychotherapy enriches her professionally as much as it enhances her experience of learning and healing for both students and clients.
