Hosted by Sofia University Global Engagement, One Moon, Wholeness Together, brings the Sofia community together for the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival Community Celebration and launch of the Transpersonal & Outsider Art Online Exhibition.
Rooted in the Asian tradition of gathering under the same moon, this celebration explores connection, belonging, wholeness, and our shared human experience. While inspired by the Mid-Autumn Festival, the event celebrates the diversity of Asian cultures while creating opportunities for meaningful East–West cultural dialogue and exchange.
Celebrating Culture, Connection & Wholeness
Reflecting the spirit of Transpersonal Psychology, the event explores our deeper connections with ourselves, others, culture, and the larger human experience. Through art, cultural traditions, and community, attendees will discover different perspectives on belonging, relationship, and well-being.
Event Highlights
- Asian Cultural Experience Stations: Explore traditions and creative practices including Chinese calligraphy, mooncake making, lantern riddles, and more.
- Traditional Lion Dance Performance: Experience a vibrant tradition celebrating community, vitality, and good fortune.
- East–West Cultural Dialogue: Explore perspectives on belonging, identity, well-being, community, and human flourishing.
- Transpersonal & Outsider Art Exhibition: Discover original works exploring cultural identity and artistic expression, featuring internationally recognized Chinese artist Guo Haiping.
Guests can also enjoy light food, refreshments, and a special mocktail while connecting with the Sofia community.
