Miriam Lamb-Perrone, MACP is interested in the whole body-whole mind approach to medicine and healing. She has always been interested in how individuals are influenced by their macro and micro environments— their genes, families, cultures, and societies. She believes that the question of defining oneself is not a simple one. She would like to help individuals discover their higher Selves and fullest potential. She believes that the processes of releasing emotional pain; gaining insight; changing core beliefs; and deepening one’s spiritual evolution are completely intertwined. Her overall career interest is to provide integrative holistic counseling with a whole mind/whole body approach.
Walker Karraa, Ph.D. is a provocative thought leader in the field of maternal mental health and leadership. She earned her Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia in 2013. Her first book, Transformed by Postpartum Depression: Women’s Stories of Trauma and Growth, presents her research revealing the traumatic and transformative nature of postpartum depression.
Elisa Sciscioli, MATP integrates her passion in voice as she combines creative expression, music and singing. Elisa said the Master’s Degree in the Global Transpersonal Psychology Program she earned at Sofia, gave her the grounding she needed to launch her career.
Frederic (Fred) Luskin Ph.D. is the chair and Professor in the Psy.D. Program in clinical psychology at Sofia University. Fred is a senior consultant in wellness and health promotion at Stanford University, where he teaches the positive psychology class. He is one of the most recognized researchers and teachers of forgiveness in the United States. He has clinical licenses as a marriage and family counselor, educational psychologist and clinical psychologist. He is the author of the best-selling books Forgive for Love and Forgive for Good.
