Healing the mind/body connection using mindfulness as a health practice can have great health benefits. How is this possible? Our bodies are very sensitive to the ways in which we think or feel. Little do we know that those emotions and thoughts find their way into our physical bodies. Our immune systems are often the first indicators that we are not living mindfully or in a positive state of mind.
Join our faculty, Dr. Marilyn Schlitz and Dr. Kelly Yi, and alumni guest speakers, as they explore this relevant topic on Saturday, May 13th. Experience the concepts through a mindful meditation. There will be time for question and answers after the panel talk. Breakfast snacks will be available. After the talk we will break out in our Open House, tour and program specific break out sessions. All are free to attend one or both parts of the day!
